About this product
The Chiswick Ottoman Bed helps you organise your bedroom when floor space is tight. It's a compact small double layout with hidden storage underneath that lifts open with a gas hydraulic system, so you can keep linen, blankets, towels and clothes out of sight but easy to reach. The upholstered frame with soft velvet fabric adds a comfortable feel, while the included headboard provides support when sitting up. The ottoman base stores over 460 litres, plenty of room for bulky bedding or seasonal items you don't need every day.
The lift mechanism opens from either the left or right side, so you can configure it to suit your room layout and avoid blocking furniture or walls. Plywood slats provide firm support for your mattress without needing extra parts. The storage area underneath is lined to protect your items and keep them fresh. It supports up to 220kg total user weight and stands stable on its upholstered base. Assembly takes two people and includes clear instructions, with headboard fixings supplied. Comes with a manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Bed of your Dreams!
Bought this bed about 3 weeks ago. Super comfortable and easy to assemble. The added storage is super convenient especially when packing away winter and summer clothes! Run to Argos and get yours now!

Great bed
Purchased this bed for my toddler as she has the box room. It looks great, has a great amount of storage underneath and only took my partner a few hours to put together by himself. Great value for money.

Great bed, easy to build and love the side opener
I bought this bed for my daughter and she loves it. Delivery was fast (although I wasn't happy with Argos's delivery company) but the bed itself is great, easy to build and the side opener was tighter at first but has eased off as time has went on. My daughter is a toddler and is unable to open the bed which is how I like it but an older child may find it easier to open. Only downside is our mattress slips slightly when opened so takes some getting used to holding the mattress as you close.

Absolutely not worth the money
Waste of time do not buy. Bought it for my 2 year old daughter and after a week the side bar/ rail (that comes already fitted to the bed) snapped out the side. All she did was get into bed laid back and the bed just dropped. Customer service from the couriers that Argos use has be absolutely useless. Avoid at all costs

Ottoman bed frame
Bed slat missing, multiple black marks on the cream bedframe. Very disappointed with the quality of the item. However it was fairly easy to build and is comfortable.
