It’s certainly an Iron!
Sturdy, good value iron with excellent choice of settings and functionality. Only downside would be weight for some as she’s a heavy beast but that makes the ironing very easy, she glides over the creases with nonchalance.

The cord is not long enough. There is not enough weight to it. Feels like the bottom is not gliding enough. Like it is sticking or clinging to the clothes in a synthetic way.

This is a great iron! My old one broke and I got my eye on this one, lovely colours and design, lovely to handle, smoother glide and requires hardly any hard work.

Great reliable iron
This iron is really good for ironing between buttons, the "nose" is very well-designed for getting into pleats and pintucks, too. It's a quick preheat and I like the green light to let you know when it's ready to go. The steam out-put is steady and very efficient on cotton fabrics especially. I like the fact it doesn't drip or leave splodges of damp cloth when you want to give your clothes a quick iron before wearing.

Good iron at a sensible price
I've only had this iron for a week but so far so good. It's not too heavy even with a full tank of water so my arthritic hands are happy. It heats up very quickly and produces an impressive amount of steam right to the last drop of (tap) water, and glides over fabrics very well. It doesn't drip. Both sides of denim jeans can be crease-free in one pass, no need to turn them over. I've ironed cotton, polycottons, linen, canvas, denim and silk without any problems. The sole plate is easy to clean, important for me as I use iron-on interfacings and often get the glue on my iron. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

The steam shot works in horizontal and vertical mode but the continuous steam function only works when horizontal. Set the temperature dial to a setting with a steam icon and click the steam select switch to one of the three settings, min to max, max only seems to stay in place, by design, by holding it in place with finger.
Hello, from the information we have available, when the steam dial is set between min and max, the iron gives off steam continuously (when held in the horizontal position). The steam select on this iron has 2 fixed output settings, the third max output setting is only operated by keeping it held in place manually using a finger. A strange approach but likely done to fit with limits of its steam capability. I had to check another in-store iron to see this, the manual is a bit ambiguous. The steam shot is separate to this and very powerful.
