Great game
Bought this after Christmas as had a Christmas cracker game which was great. Got in the sale and the proper game has lots more questions. Love it. You can shorten the game too if you want to finish more quickly.

Great game to keep tucked away for all occasions
We brought this as a last minute family game for Christmas. It's been years since I played this game and it certainly tests the brain but we laughed, we bickered, we teased each other, and we had a great time. So much so, that my brother took the game from me and claimed it as his!

Great to have the old format with new questions
A lot of nostalgia with this game from my childhood, especially playing it at Christmas and love that it’s been updated so I can continue the tradition with my young adults

Great as ever!
Great game, we used to play it back in the 80s, pleased to say it still hangs in there well with the updated questions keeping it in tune with the 2020s. Definitely worth it for a good evening's entertainment 👌

Hello Haddock,

Hi Emily,
After Investigating I can confirm that this Trivial Pursuit Game: Classic Edition was released at the start of 2017. The suppliers have stated that does have new sets of questions to tax your mind as the questions are updated periodically.
Thank you for using Q&A.
My children are 14 and 17 and the children's questions in the family edition are getting a bit easy for them now. The advantage of the family edition is that you can choose to go with either the adults' or children's questions; the downside is that there are only 200 cards of each. We are now using our original 1980s game (1000 cards!) and thinking about getting a new Classic edition for the up to date (2017) questions.
I have most of the trivial pursuits and the family one is personally my favourite out of all the trivia pursuits. The adults questions in that would be perfect for them too if they don’t like the kids ones. It also has different features like showdown; where you can try to steal someone’s cheese. Hope this helps

The classic game is always worth owning. I've played the family version and although it's interesting it's not as challenging as the classic game. My family have always enjoyed the classic game from an early age through their teens and still into their 40's and 50's. It is also very educational. Either version will benefit your children's breadth of knowledge as well as giving hours of fun.
