Too American
We have an eighties edition of Trivial Pursuit and we thought we would buy an up to date edition. However the majority of questions are American so much so that we could not play it. Is it not possible to buy a British version?

Excellant customer service!
I ordered the game i wanted online. I made the mistake of collection at Sainsburys in Warwick instead of the Leamington Sainsburys. The member of staff was called Claire. She was so helpful! She cancelled my Warwick order and changed it to Leamington for me which saved me an unwanted journey. Many thanks Claire! Your a star ☆

Great trivia game
It's the 2016 version and I was concerned about the questions being out of date but not to worry, that's just my knowledge. I do look forward to a new version and more questions as we cycled through them quickly. I also thought that the cards would be in a box within the box to keep them tidy, as they used to be, and they're not. It's a bit of a puzzle where to put everything back after playing. Hopefully a new version brings back the card box I remember and not the plastic insert.

Hello Haddock,

Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Emily,
After Investigating I can confirm that this Trivial Pursuit Game: Classic Edition was released at the start of 2017. The suppliers have stated that does have new sets of questions to tax your mind as the questions are updated periodically.
Thank you for using Q&A.
My children are 14 and 17 and the children's questions in the family edition are getting a bit easy for them now. The advantage of the family edition is that you can choose to go with either the adults' or children's questions; the downside is that there are only 200 cards of each. We are now using our original 1980s game (1000 cards!) and thinking about getting a new Classic edition for the up to date (2017) questions.
I have most of the trivial pursuits and the family one is personally my favourite out of all the trivia pursuits. The adults questions in that would be perfect for them too if they don’t like the kids ones. It also has different features like showdown; where you can try to steal someone’s cheese. Hope this helps

Thanks for using Q & A
The classic game is always worth owning. I've played the family version and although it's interesting it's not as challenging as the classic game. My family have always enjoyed the classic game from an early age through their teens and still into their 40's and 50's. It is also very educational. Either version will benefit your children's breadth of knowledge as well as giving hours of fun.
