Easy way to create a straight border
Good value and easy to create a nice straight border. If your border is soft it is just a matter of tapping them in. Mine was stony so I had to dig a little hole for the spikes before knocking them in firmly and backfilling the hole. I also needed to shorten one and it was a simple job to prise off a few logs, cut the wooden batons holding all the logs in place, reattach the spike log with a couple of nails to get the desired length. Very pleased with the purchase.

So happy I saw, and bought the fixed log edging. I bought several and managed to get them all in a straight line to cordon off the grass from my border. They give a lovely neat edging. Easy to order and arrived on a day best suited to me. I dug holes in the ground while the ground was still damp so only needed to hammer them in a short way. They’re sturdy and I think they’ll last for a good several years. Not so happy to see them on offer a little while after I’d bought them, but really happy with them nevertheless. I recommend them to family and friends.

Might be a good idea. I put mine down just like that.. some bits look a bit black now - but they are quite sturdy otherwise!

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say No it is not toxic. It's just a water based preservative that is Impregnated into the timber to give it a longer life, when put in or next to the ground.
