Russell Hobbs revolutionized kitchen appliances since 1952. Buy British! Design functional but elegant too. Pouring is spot on. Much quieter than any kettle we have had before. Light to lift for my weak wrists. Water level with cups is helpful and the blue light tells you all is good. One can make 6 cups of tea. We love our new kettle and I rarely give 5 ***** but I think it is worth it.

Great kettle, very quiet. Worth the price. No weird taste or smell when new. The little red cup markers inside are handy. The spout is well designed and pours without splashing. It's prone to water-spots on the outside and requires a wipe-down to keep it looking new.
