Made from cast iron with a tough enamel coating free from lead and cadmium, this lidded casserole dish is suitable for most hobs including gas and induction. It's oven safe too, up to 260 degrees. Designed to create hearty meals for up to 5 people, this big pot can go straight from oven to table. And while it might be a bit heavy for some, at 5.3kg it's got all the cast iron quality you've been looking for. Easy to clean, just hand wash it in warm soapy water.

Excellent quality, very heavy, means it will cook
I searched the internet and decided that this casserole was the one that suited my needs, due to size, reputation and fantastic quality. It’s very heavy which means it’s made from quality metal. I am a highly qualified Chef who has worked in Michelin Star restaurants. I am retired now, but I only buy quality. Price is important, but quality is the main reason I choose this, as well as being able to collect it from the store. It was an EXCELLENT decision, and I have mentioned this to a few friends who like to cook.
