About this product
The Aspire Superking Adjustable Bed lets you find the ideal position for reading, watching TV, or sleeping. Its dual motor system adjusts the back and legs separately for comfort without moving the whole frame. A wireless remote with backlit keypad works in low light and stores favourite positions. The frame is covered in soft velvet fabric and includes a supportive pocket sprung mattress. Wooden feet keep it steady and lift it slightly off the floor. This superking size has separate mattresses with independent movement, so each side adjusts without disturbing the other. Part of the Grant collection.
The velvet fabric is practical for everyday bedroom life and easy to maintain. The frame runs on mains power, so there's no battery changing to worry about. Self assembly required, two people recommended to make it easier and safer. The siderail sits at a comfortable height for getting in and out. There's minimal space underneath, so it sits close to the floor. It supports a total maximum user weight of 220 kilogrammes across both sides. Dreadful from order placement to end user experience

Not exactly as described and some issues
Positives: Solid bed frame and adjustable metal bed frame is easy to operate. Reasonably easy to construct both the bed frame and the metal adjustable frame. Negatives: The Argos description mentions sprung wooden slats - this is incorrect. This bed is actually in two parts - the bed frame and a metal adjustable bed frame which is simply placed within the bed frame (i.e. it is not attached at any point). The mattress came vacuum packed and rolled with no instructions about how to deal with this. It took many days for it to 'fill out'. Also, when the adjustable bed is raised, the mattress creases significantly (see pictures). Never having owned this type of bed before, I do not know if this is 'normal' but it is not comfortable. The bed frame was missing the 'bolt threads' to screw the feet into and the company simply sent these to me and told me to 'hammer' them in myself, which was difficult to do. Also, the instructions that arrived with the bed were not for the adjustable bed. Argos contacted the company who emailed the exact same incorrect instructions. I had to ring them to get the correct ones. Overall, would I order again - the answer is no.

Beautiful velvet plush feel
This bed is so comfortable and looks amazing nice feel to the velvet colour is perfect for decor only negative is not so easy to assemble and was supplied with wrong instructions Luckily my husband and son worked it out
