About this product
The Mercia Helios Summerhouse creates extra outdoor living space for relaxation and entertaining. It's a timber summerhouse with four large styrene glazed windows and double doors that fill the interior with natural light. The shiplap tongue and groove construction provides strength throughout the roof, walls and floor. The heavy-duty floor supports garden furniture and dining sets comfortably. A lock and key are included for security.
The tongue and groove boards work together to create a solid, weather-resistant structure. The glazed double doors open wide for easy access with furniture or guests. Four fixed windows brighten every corner of the space. The timber needs treating with quality wood treatment before use to protect it from the elements. Assembly takes two people working together. You'll have a bright, practical space for outdoor dining, hobbies or relaxing in your garden.

Mercia summerhouse
Really pleased with timely and efficient delivery. Honestly it came damaged but Argos CS-v and Mercia sorted it no problem. The quality is good and as expectedly

Good and bad
Good- Delivery was excellent as there was tracking provided. Delivery driver was fantastic, helped place all parts in my garden. Construction is easy enough. Bad- sections were constructed somewhat out of square, t&g ends were not cut flush, had to trim myself, roof bars are not safe enough in my opinion, should span over the walls and not fixed inside balancing on a piece of 1x 3, as these were designed. One window frame is out of square. Luckily, I will be cladding the inside so it will hide this. Overall - poorly constructed, quality of timber is standard. I could have, and have done, constructed this myself from scratch but with the current cost of timber would struggle to do so. The completed finished look is nice, but I had to make a few adjustments to get it there as I have my own wood workshop and the right tools to do it, not everyone will have this option. 5/10

Not the quality I expected for the price.
The quality of timber used in the construction is not of the quality I expected for the price paid. There are a large number of knot holes and a large (structurally significant) knot in one of the roof joists. Unfortunately these defects are not apparent until the later stages of construction. The metal door furniture has started to rust within the first month.
