Excellent just what I needed.

Good for elderly
Bought for my mother-in-law she's 78 and although a smaller screen than I first presumed, clock as good readability from far, this without a backlash. Very good for price, as it does everything needed.

Disappointed
Certainly extremely compact and clear. However... Firstly - and I concede I was guilty of a flawed assumption - this, unlike other Acctim time devices that I have, is not radio controlled so one has to set the time manually and it does not self- correct. Secondly, having set it matching my radio-controlled Acctim, it has gained about 40 seconds in 10 days which, for an electronic device, is very poor. Finally, I do not like the American date display - month then date.

Don’t buy
There are no instructions and the buttons on the back of the clock are quite fiddly to use. I had to google to find instructions and they are really not simple to understand. There is also no back light so you can’t read it in the dark. I just about got it to work on my holiday, but it was so much trouble to use that I left it there. The only positive was that It looked good, but its functionality is dreadful. I should have realised that its cheap price reflected its poor quality.

Mixed review
It has a good, clear screen and is good with regards to showing the time, but I could do with some instructions re setting the date, alarm etc, as that does not seem so straightforward.

Does the job
I bought this a month ago and have used it every day since. Clear display and easy to use, it’s also small enough to fit inside my pencil case when I have to move desks.

Acctim Alarm Clock
I like the Acctim Alarm clock as it’s very good. The only thing I did not notice before I purchased was that it does not have a backlight to activate during the night during darkness. Otherwise a great item and well priced. If they ever come out with the same model updated to include a light button I would purchase

Great little clock
Great little travel alarm, I don't wear a watch and this is very handy and a good size for my bag. Handy thermometer, timer, date functions too.

A waste of time and money
I bought this recently and was very disappointed; there are no jnstructions with it although I found some online. Even so, it was complicated to set up. The clock face has no backlight so is not suitable for nightime use and the alarm is very faint, so not suitable as an alarm clock either. I have ggrown it away, it would be a shame to donate it to a charity shop as some poor soul will have the same issues with it as me. A total wate of money.

Poor sound
This seemed ok until I tried the alarm. Totally inadequate to wake me up and I am a light sleeper. Who makes an alarm that whispers to you? Crazy.

There is no need to remove any screws, just slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow to open.

Acctim Mini Flip LCD Display Travel Alarm Clock:
To set the alarm:
Press the ALARM button once, the bell icon will display.
Press the SET button once, the hour digits will flash. Press up or down to set the hour, ensuring the AM/PM is set correctly.
Press the SET button again, the minute digits will flash. Press up or down to set the minutes.
Press the ALARM button again, the display will show '60' and flash. Press the up and down button to set snooze duration from 1-60 minutes.
Press the SET button once again, the ALARM sound option '1' will flash. Press up or down to select between 1-9 options.
Press the SET button again to exit.
To turn ON/OFF the ALARM/SNOOZE:
Press the ALARM button once, the bell icon will display. To turn on the alarm, press the up button and the alarm icon will display. Press the up button once again to turn ON the snooze function. The SNZ icon will display. Press the up button once again to turn OFF the alarm and snooze.
Using the SNOOZE:
When the alarm sounds, press the ALARM button to snooze the alarm for the preset snooze duration. the SNZ icon will flash. To stop the snooze function turn OFF the alarm/snooze.

When the alarm sounds, press the ALARM button (at the back) to snooze the alarm for the preset snooze duration. The SNZ icon will flash. To stop the snooze function turn off the alarm/snooze.
