Great all round tool
I bought this to saw up wooden fence panels and it worked like a charm. It cuts through the wood like butter but make sure you are confident and relatively fit as this this tool is not for nervous people - the saw tool is very sharp so you need to make sure you look after your fingers. I'd advise wearing goggles and face mask as it created a lot of sawdust.

Brill multi tool
I bought this for chopping out for new sockets to be fitted. Brilliant, best tool and easiest way of doing this job. Wonder why I didn’t get one sooner. Have some garden furniture to prepare for wood treatment next. Looking forward to using this tool again. Feel sure it will make the job a doddle. Service and price from Argos was spot on.

Amazing tool
Got this a couple of weeks ago to put panelling up in the bedroom it did the job perfect much better than a saw would have done. I’d tell others to purchase this 💯 it’s a great tool to have. I know other parts can be brought for this as well to help with other jobs that I need to do😊

cheap junk
i bough this two weeks ago used for the first time absolute junk, the blade moves sideways when trying to cut. the blade is tight but the shaft turns from the inside. taken back to argos longbridge the staff very rude and tried to blame me saying i was using the wrong type of soft wood. going to trading standards, don't wast your time.

Good for small jobs
Bought for DIY around the house. Quite noisy and would recommend buying the handle attachment as moves around lots. the box doesn’t really have room for any other extra attachments. Does the job but might burn out if used daily.

Excellent value, prompt service
Needed to replace detail sander, corded multi-tool cost effective solution with added benefit of plunge-saw (etc). No longer need fret-saw, cooping-saw, pad-saw!

Good price
Looks to be well made as you would expect from Bosch. On the downside only comes with 2 blades but plenty available on the net. Haven't used it in anger yet but can't imagine there being any problems

Hello Zippy,
The supplier has advised the following on the Bosch PMF 220 CE Multi-Tool - 220W:
“We would recommend using the 2.609.256.C65 (AIZ20AT) tool bit for this.”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi there,
The Bosch PMF 220 CE Multi-Tool uses the Starlock interface system to hold the blades - this is not Bosch specific. Providing the alternative manufacturer blade also utilize this system then they can see no reason why they could not be used on this machine. This machine can’t be used with the old style O.I.S. type blades but the Starlock blades are compatible with older machines.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Jaffa
It is possible to de-grout tiles and remove dried tile adhesive with the Bosch PMF 220 CE Multi-Tool - 220W, but not remove the actual tiles.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello there,
I have spoken to our suppliers who have advised as follows.
Yes these pads are hook and loop fastening as these are delta pads and this is the only way they can be held on the machine.
The size of these pads and the correct corresponding paper is classed as 93mm.
Thank you for using Q&A.
