Not really the best
Bought this as we already bought the same a few years ago and it was great . Can’t fault how sturdy the new headboard was but the paintwork lets it down. There was a paint bubble on the back which burst on unpacking and therefore it was down to the bare wood, the paintwork on posts to attach to the bed was dreadful and bare wood showing. I only kept it because where the shoddy paintwork was it was behind the bed and therefore couldn’t be seen, otherwise it would have been straight back for a refund.

Solid unit but with quality flaws
This is a nice sturdy and good looking headboard, easy to attach to bed and reasonable price. 👍 I would give 5 starts if the quality of the surface finish were good 🙁. Unfortunately, the top of the headboard is not one solid piece but multiple bonded strips that have moved slightly after painting to leave cracks and ridges along the surface. I will use filler & reapply gloss paint to sort it myself as returning it would be more bother 😬
