Good quality and value for money.
Read the mixed reviews but happy to say I am very happy with both the delivery and quality of this headboard. There is a small blemish in the paint but it's at the base and on the back so no issue and after all this headboard cost £80 in the sale and I've yet to find one cheaper. My only disappointment was in myself. I tried to hang a picture above it, the picture hook fell out, so the picture hit the top of the headboard, leaving a small dent. This came out with a little bit of filler and a quick sand down so all's good. Would recommend and may buy another for the spare room. On another note, I opted for the cheaper delivery option and the service was excellent. I received an email advising delivery would be between 7 am-6 pm and the driver would phone an hour before. I then received a message on the morning of the delivery advising my time slot was between 10.30-12.30, the driver phoned at 9.30 and was at my door by 10 am so the rest of my day was free. Thank you Argos.

Poorly painted headboard
At first glance this headboard appears really good value. It looks strong and robust. However, as others have said it’s poorly painted with lots of wood unpainted. Looks as if given a single quick coat of paint. The legs are very cheap wood and over time I feel will snap off. I returned to store for a refund.

I am extremely disappointed this item was so badly damaged on arrival I can only think it hadn't been checked on despatch. Then the saga of returning it as it falls into the large item category has been a joke.
