Poorly finished
Poorly finished. The top of leg post unpainted and clearly visible .purchased one of these in2020 for my son and is was much better quality than this one. Maybe the finish should be looked into. Would of returned it but too much hassle. If this was on display in a shop I would not of bought it. Its ok if you don't mind painting it yourself.

This arrived last week, well packaged. Upon opening I found that the white paint finish was very poor plus it had some scratches and chips out of the paint. The headboard itself seemed well constructed. I decided to go online to send it back. After the initial, using a chat bot I was able to message with a real person who offered me a partial refund of £20 to keep it. This wasn't enough but we finally settled on £35. Although it was originally £100, there was a 20% off offer on at the time of purchase so I had paid £80 plus delivery, so in effect the headboard had finally cost me £45. I had some white paint so I gave it another coat of paint and it is now fitted to the bed and does look very good. However I wouldn't recomend buying one of these because of the finish. Argos customer service was pretty good though, just the product left a bit too be desired.

This Argos Home Aubrey Single Headboard - White does not just stand on the floor wedged between the bed and wall. It is designed to be bolted to a compatible bed frame using headboard struts/legs that are part of the headboard.
