About this product
These durable water butts come with a three piece, interlocking stand. The stand also comes with three 3 plastic link clips which hold the stand together for added stability. The water butt comes with a tap, diverter and t-piece. All holes have been pre-drilled which makes attachment of the various components very easy. This waterbutt is 100% recyclable and is produced from recycled material.

Good value water butt
Bought a couple of months ago. Fairly easy to install and good value at the special offer price. The only downside is a consistent drip from the closed tap, as long as you leave an empty watering can underneath it, this isn't a serious issue, but 1 star deducted.

Best water butt I've ever bought.
The pre-formed screwthreads in the butt make installing tap and inlet pipe a total doddle! Comes with a stand too, so very econmical.

The tap had a leak as soon as the butt was filled, and the staff wanted me to empty the water and return the whole thing rather than let me have a new tap swap it out and bring the faulty one back. I had to buy a replacement from elsewhere

The supplier has advised the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
“ The water butt diverter operates in the below steps
It is installed in the downpipe of a rainwater drainage system.
Rainwater is diverted through a hose into the water butt.
When the water butt reaches full capacity, the diverter automatically stops the flow, allowing any excess rainwater to continue down the down pipe and safely drain away. ”

Hello Amy,
Our supplier has advised to secure the lid in place there are clips which slide under the rim of the waterbutt to securely attach it to the butt itself. The 150L & 230L Waterbutt lids also feature a rain catching design so that water does not go to waste. It sounds like this is what you are referring to by ‘gaps in the handle’ and therefore these are the reasons that the lid has the design it does.
