About this product
Saving rainwater for your garden? The Whitefurze Water Butt collects 230L efficiently. It's made from recycled polypropylene so you're helping reduce plastic waste. The three-piece interlocking stand elevates the butt for easier access. You'll secure everything firmly using the three plastic link clips provided. All holes come pre-drilled so attaching components takes minutes. The butt includes a tap for controlled water flow. It's 100% recyclable when you eventually replace it.
Connect to downpipes easily with the included diverter and t-piece. The flexible hose directs overflow water where you want it. The stand adds stability and raises height for comfortable access. You won't struggle with assembly thanks to pre-drilled attachment points. It's suitable for small to medium gardens needing water conservation. The tap lets you fill cans without lifting heavy containers. Complete kit includes stand, clips, diverter, t-piece with caps, tap and hose.
Stand, 3x plastic link clips (to secure stand together) diverter, T-piece and 2x T piece caps, tap and flexible hose.

Water Butt
Good quality
This is my second water butt of the same make and it is robust and looks as good a quality as the first one I purchased. It was easy to put together and came with all the fittings required. Im still waiting for it to rain substantially to see if it holds water ok but so far so good. The first water butt is two years old and fantastic. I love having a good amount of spare water especially when we get the heatwaves like we have had of late.

Sturdy
The water butt seems sturdy and was easy to assemble the base. Not too difficult to connect to the downpipe either. The test will come when it actually rains again!

Tap Leaks
The tap dripped from the end of the end of the nozzle and from the thread. The manufacturer sent me a replacement. This leaked from the nozzle and the top. They then sent another which was the same. I tried turning the tap upside down but it still leaked from the top. In the end I put the original tap back and stopped the leak from the thread with plumbers tape and put a bucket underneath to catch the drips from the nozzle. These taps are not fit for purpose.

Big and sturdy
A great bit of kit, I just need it to rain. It is very sturdy...the barrel doesn't squeeze in when I handle it like others I looked at. It's a complete set up with a stand, water diverter, tap etc. The tap hole was already drilled and easy to fit. I like the secure lid that won't blow off. Huge capacity was why I bought it in the first instance.

Unobtrusive, good quality waterbutt
Just bought this water butt & found it easy to set up myself. I’ve put some water in to make sure there’s no leakage & it is very stable with an easily accessible tap. Green colour ensures it sits unobtrusively in the corner of my patio.

Hello Jack,
The supplier has advised the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
"In essence, unfortunately having a metal downpipe won’t work with our water butt and you need to connect the water but to the downpipe."
But they do add the following point:
"Our 230L Water Butt can be used without being connected to a downpipe. So, for customers who don’t want to connect or cannot connect they can still use the 230L. This is due to the lid having some purpose made holes in the lids to collect rain water safely and without the need to connect to a downpipe."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Dee Dee,
I can advise the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
It's possible, you may need a filter to ensure the water is clear for the pressure washer. You would then be limited by the amount of water that is in the butt.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello Vinny B,
The Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L lid is not lockable.
Thank you for using Q and A.
That previous answer is nonsense. Theres a T piece included which screws in a premade thread in the back of the butt which can be used to link these butts. I have 3 linked this way. Basically everything you need to do this is included.
Hello there. The Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit is not designed to be linked to multiple water butts. Thanks for using Q and A.
