About this product
These durable water butts come with a three piece, interlocking stand. The stand also comes with three 3 plastic link clips which hold the stand together for added stability. The water butt comes with a tap, diverter and t-piece. All holes have been pre-drilled which makes attachment of the various components very easy. This waterbutt is 100% recyclable and is produced from recycled material.
Stand, 3x plastic link clips (to secure stand together) diverter, T-piece and 2x T piece caps, tap and flexible hose.

Leaking water butt tap
Bought my water butt and installed it as per instructions. When full of water the tap leaked. Had the butt replaced only to find the new tap leaked again. Instead of removing the water butt again I had to purchase another tap.

Purchased a few weeks ago and found very easy to install. I was surprised how quickly it has been filled via the drainpipe connection. My only concern is, as others have noted, the tap has developed a drip and its likely I will have to replace with with something more substantial like a metal lever valve.

I’ve been searching for water butts for a while and bought these a few weeks ago. They are filling up more each time it rains! I can’t fault the delivery; quick and on time. The butt material looks and feels durable- but time will tell! Great price too - so I bought 2 😁

Poor quality tap
The tap leaked from where the handle meets the body of the outlet. I bought this thinking it would be better quality than the very cheap ones. Alas, the crucial components to make it function are still just as poor. Leaked on its first filling within a week of installation.

Great but issues
Great water butt, but the tap is dripping a lot despite the tap being fully off. I'm having to buy a replacement tap to try and solve the issue.

Very pleased with capacity this water butt holds , came with stand so is very stable, did not connect to pipe so put net over top and filled with rain water ,Appears very durable , am pleased with purchase, collected myself. Pleased with service.

Substantial water butt
This is the second one I have bought because I was impressed with the first one. It was of a very large capacity, easy to assemble and of strong construction.

Really good as long as you use PTFE tape
Easy to set up, now filling up quickly, you must use ptfe tape on the threads though or you will have leaks, this isn't mentioned in the instructions. It takes quite a few wrap arounds of the tape, you know you've put enough on when there's some resistance while screwing the parts in. Have connected it to a smaller butt so will have plenty of rainwater to use.

I can advise the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
It's possible, you may need a filter to ensure the water is clear for the pressure washer. You would then be limited by the amount of water that is in the butt.

The supplier has advised the following for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 230L:
“ The water butt diverter operates in the below steps
It is installed in the downpipe of a rainwater drainage system.
Rainwater is diverted through a hose into the water butt.
When the water butt reaches full capacity, the diverter automatically stops the flow, allowing any excess rainwater to continue down the down pipe and safely drain away. ”

Hello Amy,
Our supplier has advised to secure the lid in place there are clips which slide under the rim of the waterbutt to securely attach it to the butt itself. The 150L & 230L Waterbutt lids also feature a rain catching design so that water does not go to waste. It sounds like this is what you are referring to by ‘gaps in the handle’ and therefore these are the reasons that the lid has the design it does.
