Pop in 2 x AA batteries (not included, but rechargeables work fine), load up your favourite album, and plug in the included earphones to get started. Compact player performs well.
This was to replace an old player of the same type that was misbehaving in various ways. I listen through headphones rather than the supplied ear-pieces Sound quality is first class and I am relieved that I can now use rechargeable batteries (they didn't work with the old one).

Promises more than it offers, but worth the cost
It is advertised as having skip protection, but it absolutely does not. It's a wonderful personal cd player if listening at home, but don't bother taking it on your walks. You'll need to shell out for a Sony. The good news is it provides wonderful sound and fairly OK features for a product that is only £15 so I don't feel particularly devastated

I bought this a few days ago and the battery is going strong and even dropped it once and thought it might start skipping but didnt so that was amazing for a dc player, also found I could put it in my heans pocket too and walk around with it easily. I also found it was compatible with any headphones too and the playpack was super easy to do as well as volume control and stopping and pausing the cds.

My wife uses this to learn the music for the choir she belongs to. It is an excellent basic player running on AA batteries, lightweight and easy to program. Very pleased with it 😃

Although I was cheap the device ruined my cds and the sound quality wasn't good. The battery lasted was good while I used it. Quite small

Batteries required 2 x AA (not included).
It can also be powered by AC/DC power adaptor ( not included)

does not have a dedicated 3.5mm line‑out jack. However, it does include a 3.5mm headphone socket.
If you simply need to connect it to powered speakers or an AUX input, the headphone jack will work.
If you specifically require true line‑level output (for amplifiers or recording equipment), this model does not provide it.
