Irons well, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting a good steam iron and it certainly produces a lot of steam. The downside of this is it is impossible to see the water tank through the purple plastic. I had to keep a torch next to me as I ironed so I could see the water level. The heat setting wheel is also not clear and partially hidden by the handle. Very poor design features. My next grouse is the set of instructions that comes with it is impossible to decipher. I had to take to Google to find out, in English, how to clean this machine, even then it is not entirely clear. At the price it will do for now but will be looking for something else in the near future.

Excellent iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was so excited to use this product with its many features. The iron was easy to fill and heated up very quickly. With it having one heating setting it did all materials, it was a dream, just had one pile of ironing and didn't have to think about which ones to iron first. The iron just glided over all the materials without a second thought cut the ironing time down by over half. The steam functions where amazing high power straight away. Only thing was I kept catching them, but suppose I will stop this when using the iron more and more.. The iron recieves a 10/10 from me but the only recommendation I could add is the that wire would have been able to store on the bottom of my iron like my old one. But that could just be because I am use to this function

Effortless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tefal smart plus protect iron is easy to use no messing around with fabric settings. It's adjust automatically to the clothes your ironing providing the right amount of heat. It effortlessly gets rid of creases from shirts. With my old iron I would have to go over the same crease a few times to get rid of it. The iron heats up really quick and the steam and the easy glide plate make it easy and quick to iron clothing. The only problem is it can feel slightly heavy ironing a big load of clothes and the wire could be a bit longer. But overall would be a good replacement if your looking for a new iron

Good performance overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron delivered good results once I got used to it and seemed to adjust the temperature automatically as promised. I also used it in a thin blouse that can burn easily and it ironed well. The instruction sheet only had pictures and wasn’t very clear, so a bit of trial and error was needed for the first use. There was also a noticeable factory smell initially, so I wouldn’t advise using it on clothes straightaway. The iron itself is quite large and doesn’t fit into the cradle on the ironing board which is a bit inconvenient. Overall it performs well once set up and is a good iron.

Effortless lightweight & simple to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous iron ive had for years and was due an upgrade. I am absolutely delighted with the Tefal smart plus iron as there are so many positive features. Firstly it is lightweight as so easy to maneuver making the mundane task of ironing a lot more enjoyable. I really love the fact you do not need to adjust the heat setting for different fabrics you can just power through you clothes pile and just makes it so much more simple and effective. The main positive is the powerful steam option for those days when you need to give an item of clothing a quick whip over before work, saved me so much more me time. I will never look back!
