About this product
A gate that disappears when you're not using it. This retractable safety barrier stretches across doorways, hallways or stairs up to 140cm wide, then rolls neatly back into its housing when you need the space clear. The mesh is see-through, so you can keep an eye on what's happening on the other side, and there's no bottom bar to trip over (particularly handy on stairs). One-handed operation means you can open and close it while carrying a child or laundry basket. The EZY-Check Indicator shows at a glance whether it's locked or unlocked.
The screw-fit installation keeps it securely in place, and the double locking system adds an extra layer of security. It closes automatically behind you, so there's no risk of leaving it open by mistake. The 90cm height is tall enough to contain curious climbers, and the sturdy mesh construction handles daily use without sagging. Suitable for children up to 24 months. It works indoors and outdoors (just bring it in during bad weather). Replacement stair gate
Flexible and practical stair gate (using for inquisitive dog, not baby!). Much lighter than metal versions and doesn’t swing out, so hoping it will stay on wall.

Great for what I needed!
I bought this for my toddlers bedroom door as he’s an escape artist! Works great, a little bit noisy if you close or open too fast, but quiet enough you can close it or open it without waking up a child! We have a narrow hallway as we live in a holiday caravan so this is lovely and compact!

Better than a gate with bars
Install is easy, but does require drilling. Takes up less space than a gate with bars and is unobtrusive when not in use. The locking function works well. The curtain requires two hands to shut as there are two clips that hold it on.

Fits narrow to wider openings of up to 140cm / 55in. The item would be more rigid and tight the bigger it was extended.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dreambaby X-Tall Retractable Gate. Fits 60-140cm - Grey: Please note that when installed, there is 2 things that need to happen in order to open the gate. Doing one will not open the gate.
Also, the gate is installed as close to the ground as possible.

Our supplier has confirmed that the Dreambaby X-Tall Retractable Gate can be used at the top of the stairs however it should be installed no less than 15cm away from the stair edge.
