Best purchase I have made and highly recommend this item. I purchased this November 2025 and I have only charged it twice (it’s May 2026 now) and I use it all the time (it is on flight mode and I only use Wi-Fi if I need to download more books). Amazing e-reader.

I bought this five months ago. Very pleased with it. Battery lasts a long while. I can adjust brightness which is ideal if reading during the night or outside. Compact to put in my bag. Comfortable weight.

Impressive!
A very nice device. The display is excellent and I love that I can fine tune the colour of the light. I tried the basic Kindle before this and the screen light was very blue, too much so at bedtime. The screen is very good and crisp and it's easy to read, no matter how light or dark the ambient lighting. The contrast between the black text and the background is impressive and it's almost like you're reading a real book. I have only one niggle and that is the bezels are a little too slim when you're trying to read on your side in bed. It's quite difficult to held without obscuring part of the screen - but using a cover and putting your fingers between the back of the Kindle and the cover when it is folded back makes it a little easier.
