I love my kindle BUT
I have been going between whether I should buy a kindle and I want to say if you are the same DO IT. Only thing to note is that it is not listed here but this is the version with ads, you can remove these for £10 but in order to do so it can be a bit of a faff, google a tutorial! Finally I do think it’s expensive, the tech is not groundbreaking so for £160 plus ad removal and then on top you have book prices not that much cheaper than physical media is a bit steep, however being that it is waterproof I hope it’ll last a good few years and It’ll eventually pay for itself!

Expensive
I only purchased this as my original kindle was pre-2012 and could no longer download, disappointing! This kindle is basically the same with a sensitive quick page turner and sharp display. One feature it doesn't have which I used on the old kindle is rotation. I prefer the pages to be horizontal, this kindle you cannot rotate. Please consider this. Basically it's just a kindle and does what I should, I do feel it's very pricey.

I love the colour of this kindle. I was able to use some of my nectar points towards it which I was grateful of as I felt this was a little too expensive for what it is. The battery life is great and the screen is very clear. I am happy with my purchase but do believe the kindle is over priced.

Purchased as an upgrade from older 6" Kindle to have the benefit of a slightly larger screen and the much higher screen resolution. The PaperWhite responds much faster and having the option of a more advance screen brightness option is most welcome. So yes, this Kindle Paper White is to be recommended. NB. For anyone upgrading from the older 6", emailing books to the device no longer has the 'verification' step. The book is emailed directly.
