Warm light makes such a difference!
I'm still sore about Amazon removing support for my old Kindle, which still worked perfectly well, but this one is definitely a noticeable upgrade. I especially appreciate the option to change the warmth of the light, as it feels much more cosy for reading in bed using the warm lighting. Page turns are much faster than my old Kindle, and the larger screen means more words on each page. I tried using it with ads and it was fine to use, they only show up on the lock screen and do not interfere with reading, but in the end I paid to remove them since it was only a one-off cost of £10.

Love it
The screen is so easy to read even in the dimmest or brightest light. I like the way you can adjust both brightness and contrast for optimum reading. With the long battery life you can effectively carry your library in even the smallest handbag

great device
My first e-reader. It’s fantastic, easy to set up and navigate and the warmth setting for the screen is one of the main reasons I bought it. I’m really pleased with it

I love my kindle
I love my Kindle so much. ❤️ I haven’t read properly since I was a child, but I used to love getting completely lost in books, and I’ve finally found that feeling again. Reading on my Kindle is so relaxing. It’s become such a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day, and I find it really helps me switch off and get to sleep. There’s something about getting absorbed in a story that feels so much better than endlessly scrolling on your phone. The dictionary function is fantastic too. If I come across a word I don’t know, I can just tap it and instantly find out what it means, which makes reading feel even more rewarding. And honestly, if you’re someone who doom scrolls and feels like you need something else to do, I couldn’t recommend getting a Kindle enough. It gives you something enjoyable to escape into without the constant noise and stimulation of social media. I genuinely didn’t realise how much I missed reading until I started again. 📖🤍 My Kindle has brought back something I loved as a child, and I’m so glad I found it again.
