A solid external hard drive and a reasonable price
This is a very capable external hard drive for backing up your files or just moving files around. The packaging includes the hard drive as well as a cable to connect to your computer. This cable is USB Micro B connector (connects to hard drive) to USB 3.2 Gen 1 type A which connects tho the computer. The 4TB version I bought is large enough to cope with most file backups, unless you have a large amount of video files to back up. I have used this brand previously and haven't had any issues with it to date., being very reliable. The transfer speed is what you expect from the older USB 3.2 specification. The drive itself is small enough to slip into a pocket, so very easy to transfer you data from one location to another.

Hello Ipoketurtles,
The supplier has advised the following for the Toshiba Canvio Ready 2.5 4TB External Hard Drive:
"In theory it is possible to use an external HDD to transfer pictures from an android phone.
In this case the phone will have to offer enough power output to power the external HDD.
Additionally the drive needs to be formatted with a file system, android OS can read and write, for example exFAT.
By default, Canvio ready drives will be shipped with the NTFS file system.
In order to reformat the drive, it must be connected to a PC.
For more information’s regarding compatibility, I suggest contacting the manufacturer of the phone."
