Amazing quality and great gift
I bought this in summer and I am so glad I did choose this sand pit for my little one as his birthday gift he loved it and spent so many hours playing in the sand. We also spent quality time with our kid and it is very easy to assemble and have great quality of wood.

Nice little sandpit
Bought for my grandson. Lots of room and little seats at the corners. Only issue was the screws very hard to screw into the sides with the screws provided.

Complete waste of money
The only nice thing about this product is the wooden coloured seats, everything else doesn’t work. From the mat flooring, to the cover that is not waterproof, & fits badly. Rubbish

Does the job just fine
A bit of a faff to build without a corner clamp, but not exactly difficult. Once built, it's a great addition to the garden. On thine to note, the Argos FAQ says there isn't a bottom liner included in the box, but there is (as you can see in the picture!).

The supplier has advised the following for the Chad Valley Wooden Sand Pit:
"For a sandpit sized 90 cm x 90 cm with a depth of 12 cm, you'll need approximately 90 to 110 liters of sand to fill up the pit, depending on the type and grain size. For play sand, it is less likely fully filled up to top rim and half filled with 50 liters would be a good estimate to start with."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Chad Valley Wooden Sand Pit: The sand pit size is 90 x 90cm. Providing the dog is not too big, it can be played in.

I would get 2 bags if you want the sand a bit deeper as 1 x 25kg only gives about 2 inch covering
