Well I dreaded putting up this rail took me 2 days to pluck up the courage so balanced on my steps which I got from Argos years ago 10/10 I first marked the tiles extended to the required length give it a couple of twists and Hey Presto it worked never had any problems with it since so there you go

The supplier has advised the following for the Home 140-260cm Telescopic Rail - Black:
“ To extend the rod quickly, let the rod hang down from your hand while holding the small tube. The large tube can then spin downward easily.
Turn the tubes in opposite directions to make the rod longer or shorter.
Once the end caps are touching your walls, turn the rod 3 or 4 more times to tighten the rod into place. ”
