The Bissell HydroSteam Spot Cleaner is a portable deep cleaner that tackles tough, set-in stains and lingering odours with HydroSteam Technology. It combines steam vapour, water and specially formulated Bissell cleaning solution with 1000W suction to shift the kind of sticky, stuck-on messes that won't budge with a regular vacuum. It's designed for spot cleaning rather than whole-floor jobs, so it's perfect for quick fixes and problem areas.
It works across carpets, area rugs, upholstery, car interiors, curtains, tile grout, stairs and even trainers, which makes it properly versatile. Doesn’t produce any steam, just a squirt of water
Really disappointed. No steam produced despite the steam light being on and waiting for more than 2 minutes for machine to heat up. Also no detergent in the box, which makes me i received someone’s faulty return. Annoying. Will be returning.

Returned, cheaply made, non effective steam
I first purchased a vac equivalent but it did not have the steam feature, then I found this one. For reference my sofa has minimal marks, it is cream linen and I have had it for 2 years without cleaning it, so it is not dirty but needs refreshing. I used the VaC on the arm and it was pulling out dirts that I did not even know was there, the water was dirty to my shock horror! Compared to the vax this one feels cheap, and the water suction was not coming out dirty which feels me the suction is rubbish. the handle kept coming off when I was using it, the parts feel very cheap. The steam steams but it isn’t even hot, so pointless. I returned. Back to the search to find something that really works

Good value, works very well
Great suction, cleans very well. Easy to clean after use. It is quite noisy but I think thats pretty standard for these sort of machines. Power cable is nice and long. Would definitely recommend.
