Easy to use
Easy to use when using the blender. I would rather have a second blender unit. Does not blend to super smooth though. Blades should be larger i think. I think the food chopper is a waste of time and not easy to clean out.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salter EK5029 2-in-1 Blend and Chop Blender & Food Processor: Based on our product specifications, the EK5029 features a 1.2L chopping bowl and a 570ml sports bottle, both of which are made from high-quality BPA-free plastic (ABS for the housing and blending components, and BPA-free materials for the chopping bowl and sports bottle). The product does not include glass containers.

Salter advise: ''Blending hot contents in this blender can cause damage to the internal components of the blender which is why we advise against this.''

In regards to the Salter EK5029 2-in-1 Blend and Chop Blender & Food Processor;
This would be able to blend black pepper, but this isn't the intended use. We would advise against dry blending ingredients in order to maintain the blender in its best condition. A grinder may be more suitable.
