Broke easily.
The chopper part broke within 2 months of buying it. Salter were no help whatsoever. Couldn't replace the part that broke. It's a shame because it was really helpful having a combined blender and chopper. Argos, to their credit, refunded me with no fuss. I guess if it doesn't break it's good?

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salter EK5029 2-in-1 Blend and Chop Blender & Food Processor: Based on our product specifications, the EK5029 features a 1.2L chopping bowl and a 570ml sports bottle, both of which are made from high-quality BPA-free plastic (ABS for the housing and blending components, and BPA-free materials for the chopping bowl and sports bottle). The product does not include glass containers.

This would be able to blend black pepper, but this isn't the intended use. We would advise against dry blending ingredients in order to maintain the blender in its best condition. A grinder may be more suitable.
