Excellent bit of kit!!
I was indecisive on whether to get the Sony version or the JBL. I was certain I would get the JBL because of how it performed at my mates party. After a bit of research and much thought I went for the Sony and I’m delighted with my choice. Great for a karaoke night, great when connected via optical cable for a cinematic experience. I would definitely recommend this and you will not be disappointed!

Great speaker
Bought to replace a gtk-xb90 that met an unfortunate end. I was a little sceptical initially as technical specifications are very guarded about the power output and their figures imply it is underpowered compared to other brands like JBL. I need not have worried. I compared both speakers in a live setting and the Sony speaker delivers a crisp clear fuller sound with good bass response. It has inputs for a mic with volume and reverb for any budding singers. It has the option to connect to a TV giving a cinema style pseudo surround sound which again is quite good. No matter the setting even outdoors this speaker sounds excellent. It looks stylish and the built in lights give a better effect than I expected. Really happy with the purchase so far and the whole family enjoy it.
