Not built to last
Not happy with this as has just gone over the 2 year warranty and has started causing issues. The lid doesnt open when hot and the heat plate is extremely loud now. Seems like these products are only built to last up to their warranty period! Going to have to buy another kettle now as they possibly wont replace :( it was great while it lasted

brilliant for 18 months then had to replace it
don't bother unless you want to replace it in a couple of years! great idea in theory nence the good reviews on which? and elsewhere, but they don't use it for a prolonged period of time. within 18 months it wouldn't boil unless I revolved the kettle to find a position that would work. over time this got worse and it took several attempts to find the sweet spot. in the end I just gave up and binned it as I couldn't be bothered wasting anymore time standing there spinning a kettle when all I wanted was a brew.

Efficient but has annoying beep !!!!
I like this kettle so I've given it a 4 out of 5, I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if it didn't have the annoying beep when turning it on and also at the end when its boiled. It says in the instructions that you can turn it off but you definitely cannot unless I've got a faulty kettle.

A well thought of kettle for the perfect cuppa!!
I had been looking for a decent kettle for a while now after my old one was failing to boil correctly and spotted the Ninja Stainless Steel Perfect Temperature Kettle, Rapid Boil – KT201UK Too good to be true ? Nope! It lives up to its name and does exactly as it says!! It boils very fast and the best bit is it keeps the exact temperature for 30 mins which for me is great as I enjoy two coffees once awake as saves reboiling :) the fact you can set your own temperature to your desired heat is also a bonus as I do enjoy a cup of tea at a lower temp and saves you waiting for the water to cool when using other kettles! This really is a win win all round! It looks sleek n modern and has a great easy to use display panel! Not for getting Ninjas now famous beep noise once it’s boiled to let you know it’s ready!! You simply can’t go wrong and the best buy I’ve had yet!! I highly recommend this kettle! Cheers!!

Excellent Quality Kettle
Quality as always from Ninja. This kettle is very accurate, easy to use and has some nice features like removable limescale filter, real-time water temperature which you see rise as the kettle is boiling. Unlike other 'keep warm' kettles this one actually re-heats the water over 30 minutes to make sure it's exactly at the right temperature you set on the 'keep warm' settings.

Can hold the temperature at a level lower than boiling. You can select a different temperature by using the +/- buttons to change the temperature.

At any point during a heating cycle, you can select a different preset or use the +/- buttons to change the temperature. If the current water temperature is higher than a newly selected temperature, the kettle will turn off.
The handle is black, while the base features stainless steel and a black screen menu.
This kettle features a stainless steel finish on its main body. The handle and base, however, are a sleek matte black.
The grade is 304 stainless steel.
While the kettle might get warm during boiling, the handle is designed to stay cool to the touch. It also features a boil-dry protection system that automatically shuts off the kettle if it starts with insufficient water or runs out during heating, preventing overheating and potential damage.
As with any kettle, if you live in a hard water area, you will need to regularly descale your kettle for optimum performance and efficiency.

Having checked I can see these are the same the model number differ for the colour of the appliance. KT200UK is silver and KT200UK is black.
