Easy to use, stylish
The last few kettles I’ve had all have different temperature settings. I drink herbal teas so this is important to me. This one is great. I like the wide spout. For if you can’t be bothered to flip the lid open. Will fill a pan quicker too. It’s very light without water. Setting the temperature is easy. It defaults to 100 degrees boiling. The last kettle I had got wider at the bottom. I like that this is all one width. I have to have stainless steel too, never plastic. One star off because the base is very shallow so be careful not to slide it across. Place it down correctly so it doesn’t scuff the base. Also it’s a premium price. I don’t find it loud, in fact I rarely noticeable it at all. But I don’t have a kitchen diner open plan kitchen. It is rapid so it boil’s quickly anyway, so not much time to notice. I usually use for myself and cooking so I’m not boiling a full kettle that often. But I use it very often throughout the day. Always a cuppa on the go to keep hydrated.

Recommended - busy house
Because it wobbles a little bit on the base and doesn't sit "locked in" like my old kettle, i've dropped a star. I like it that it's metal or not, plastic. I like the easy control. It's a shame the alarm isn't slightly different to my ninja cooker, as when cooking I'm never really sure what is going off. I have a small galley kitchen, separate to living areas, so unless I'm physically in the kitchen, I'm relying on the ready tones of the appliances. That said, during the day, working from home, I cannot tell you how many times I used to put the kettle and forget about it, engrossed in emails- only to have boil do it again. Having the beeps to tell me the kettles boiled is great. When making multiple drinks and tea, for very fussy drinkers, being able to hold the temperature was great, I could make one cup at a time, not having to keep reboiling. Functionality, it's fabulous, but only time will tell about longevity.

This is the second one the first one lasted about 3 yrs hopefully this will last longer, as great item excellent quality,the first one started to leak at bottom of the viewing tube,

Disappointed
3rd kettle in 1 year and had difficulties getting Shark to refund or replace. Wasn't the best service I've had. Disappointing. Just waiting for this kettle to break again with the same issue of the water level ceasing to illuminate.

Can hold the temperature at a level lower than boiling. You can select a different temperature by using the +/- buttons to change the temperature.

At any point during a heating cycle, you can select a different preset or use the +/- buttons to change the temperature. If the current water temperature is higher than a newly selected temperature, the kettle will turn off.
The handle is black, while the base features stainless steel and a black screen menu.
This kettle features a stainless steel finish on its main body. The handle and base, however, are a sleek matte black.
The grade is 304 stainless steel.
