Compact efficient kettle
Very good compact kettle. The hold temperature is a good idea but as soon as you pick the kettle up it deactivates so if holding for a second cup then activate once kettle back on stand.

Was fantastic until it peeled
Love this kettle but the black plastic wrap has started to peel and disintegrate around the rim resulting in plastic in the water. As I use a black mug I only noticed this morning, so I do not like to think how long the plastic has been peeling.

Fault developed after 13 months use
Temperature sensor fault after 13 months use. Keeps switching off before temperature reached or continues boiling after it reaches temperature.

Not built to last
Not happy with this as has just gone over the 2 year warranty and has started causing issues. The lid doesnt open when hot and the heat plate is extremely loud now. Seems like these products are only built to last up to their warranty period! Going to have to buy another kettle now as they possibly wont replace :( it was great while it lasted

Can hold the temperature at a level lower than boiling. You can select a different temperature by using the +/- buttons to change the temperature.

At any point during a heating cycle, you can select a different preset or use the +/- buttons to change the temperature. If the current water temperature is higher than a newly selected temperature, the kettle will turn off.
The handle is black, while the base features stainless steel and a black screen menu.
This kettle features a stainless steel finish on its main body. The handle and base, however, are a sleek matte black.
The grade is 304 stainless steel.
While the kettle might get warm during boiling, the handle is designed to stay cool to the touch. It also features a boil-dry protection system that automatically shuts off the kettle if it starts with insufficient water or runs out during heating, preventing overheating and potential damage.

Having checked I can see these are the same the model number differ for the colour of the appliance. KT200UK is silver and KT200UK is black.
