The handlebar adjusts as they grow, with rubber grips that stay comfortable. Anti-slip footplate keeps feet secure, and the rear brake is right where little legs can press it. Three illuminated wheels activate when they move. Removable handlebar makes it easy to store after a ride. ABEC 5 bearings for smooth rolling. Minimal assembly required. Protective equipment recommended.

Bought for grandsons fourth birthday,he loves the way the foot plate lights up on the sides ,as he's new to the scooter he doesn't go fast enough yet to get the wheel light to work it is easy to adjust the handle height and having the three wheels it is stable it also has a rear foot brake

Bought for my very tall 2 year old. It is perfect! It is solid and good quality, it comes apart easy with a push click so can be carried under the buggy easily (I find foldable scooters too weak and flimsy), thr wheels are softer rubber so I think will last long. The lights are fun (the ones on the deck require AAA batteries but the ones in the wheels don't, so there is no rush to replace/recharge the ones for the deck when they run out). It is sturdy and feels really safe, it looks good, and the price is fantastic! I could not be more happy with it!!

I can advise the manufacturer has advised that this has a maximum user weight of 50kg, so if the 8 year old is below this it can be used. There is also a minimum age of 3 years and over.
