Nice but...
Lovely scooter on first view. Easy to put together and seemed sturdy. The lights along the base are a little annoying as the button for them is under the footplate and doesn't switch off automatically so uses alot of batteries if you're not careful. Perfect size for my 3 year old with plenty of growing room. However unfortunatly it all fell to bits within 2 weeks with bolts sheering off on a ride out leaving my 3 year old very sad. Hoping it's just a faulty scooter.

I can advise the manufacturer has advised that this has a maximum user weight of 50kg, so if the 8 year old is below this it can be used. There is also a minimum age of 3 years and over.
