About this product
The Winchester Sideboard gives you storage that works hard in your dining room or hallway, keeping crockery, table linen, and everyday essentials tidy and out of sight. It's got three roomy drawers that glide smoothly on metal runners, so you can store cutlery, placemats and serving pieces without awkward sticking. Two cupboards with fixed shelves inside hold larger items like serving dishes, vases or cookbooks. The painted base in reed brings a touch of country style, while the warm wood effect top adds natural character. Antiqued pewter handles finish the look.
The smooth surfaces wipe clean after daily use, keeping things tidy. The drawers slide easily on metal runners, so you won't struggle when setting the table or clearing up. The top surface is solid enough to hold a lamp, vase or decorative pieces. It's a practical height and width that fits most dining or living rooms without dominating the space. Wall-mounting is required for stability as it's over 60cm high, with fixings needed to prevent tipping. Two people are recommended for assembly; clear instructions and all fixings are provided. Bought this item a few weeks ago for hallway My husband and I put it together without falling out !! Took a couple of hours Love the colour but finish can easily be damaged on the edges need to be very careful.

I love this unit,the size was just right needs two to build it, and you need to follow the instructions which are quite good. Make sure you check sizes of screws before using. Took us a couple of hours to build, but we have done a lot of flat packs in the past.

Beautiful sideboard
Beautiful sideboard! Easiest piece of furniture we’ve ever put together and looks great, really good quality. We did have an issue with the oak top being dented and the paint pulled off one of the doors as we were peeling the protective plastic off but we got in touch with Argos and they sent replacement parts very quickly, great service thanks Argos!!

Good size but would of been nicer a little longer
Bought this along with the matching tv unit, quite straight forward to put together,the only issue is one of the door knobs won’t tighten so falls off sometimes , will have to think of something to help it stay tight. Had the same issue with the plinth as I did with the tv unit but solved the issue
