Excellent Water Quality and Easy to Use
Excellent water filter jug! The water tastes noticeably cleaner and softer after filtration, with no unpleasant smell. The 2.4L capacity is very convenient and lasts all day. The jug is lightweight, ergonomic, and comfortable to hold. I also love the transparent design and blue color — it’s easy to see the water level. Very easy to maintain and replace the filter. Highly satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Although my tap water is OK, I wanted it to be a little bit better. Rather than pay silly money for bottled water (which I don't) I bought this Brita® Marella filter jug. It fits perfectly in the fridge door and holds a decent amount of cold filtered water. There is a handy LCD display to remind you when to change the cartridge.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Blue 2.4L: In order for the cartridge to perform effectively all contents need to be fully hydrated with water and any air bubbles need to be released. In order to do this please follow the below steps.
-Wash the jug thoroughly, taking care not to get water on the electronic indicator.
- Half fill your kitchen sink or a deep bowl with cold water and no detergent.
-Give the cartridge a good shake from side to side under water to remove any excess air.
- Remove cartridge from water and firmly insert into jug funnel.
-Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow to filter through, discard the filtered water.
-Repeat last step
- Reset electronic indicator on top of jug – please see next page for indicator types.
- Your water is now ready to enjoy.
