Not just a gimmick
I bought this on a whim and in frustration at my old faithful jug of 15 years had lost all measurement markings so now is just a jug I was sceptical at first about this one but especially now as Iam getting /am old with a spinal injury not having to bend to counjter level to see measurment is a great bonus so this jug is a major bonus

Beast jug in the world
Of all the Oxo ones this is by far the most useful. Had a smaller one that my son broke so just need to make sure you don't drop it on its handle. Super good quality durable plastic

Very useful.
Had a previous jug, after many years of dishwasher cleaning, the numerals are finally wearing thin. Still readable, new one very good. So much easier to read quantities than a conventional glass jug.

The OXO Softworks 1L Angled Measuring Jug is made from BPA-free plastic, which is generally microwave safe. However, please ensure the grill option on your microwave is not accidentally turned on, as this may cause melting. It's not advisable to use it for boiling water and butter, chocolate, etc., as OXO products are microwave safe for non-fatty foods.
The maximum liquid temperature the jug can hold is typically below the 100°C (212°F), which is the boiling point of water.
