About this product
This alarm clock gets you up on time without a jarring wake-up call, thanks to the crescendo alarm that starts gently and builds in volume. The LED display has extra-large digits you can read from across the room, and there's a snooze function for when you need a few more minutes. It shows the temperature as well as the time, and the clear digital screen means no squinting first thing in the morning.
It's USB powered with the cable supplied, so you'll need to plug it in to keep the display visible. The crescendo alarm means no sudden shock when it goes off, and the snooze button lets you grab a bit more rest without worrying you'll oversleep. It runs on AAA batteries for backup, and comes with a two-year guarantee from the manufacturer. Much too bright.
Bought this to replace a plug in digital alarm clock where the alarm no longer works but the clock does. It is so bright that the light keeps me awake at night! Even the dimmer setting is too bright. Unfortunately too late to return it so it will go to a charity shop

Nice but not loud enough for me.
Although it’s very bright and clear, the volume just wasn’t loud enough for me. I thought it was broken until I was up earlier and in the room at the time. Put it in my spare room as just a clock.

I am very happy with this alarm clock. It looks good, is very simple to set up and easy to read the time during the night. I would have given a 5 star review if the alarm was a bit louder. It is fine for me, but a very heavy sleeper may find it a bit too gentle.

It may be in night mode.
If you press mode twice this should switch it off.
The LED only stays illuminated when it's plugged in, not when it's running off batteries.
