About this product
The Habitat Serena Scallop Single Bed Frame gives your child a lovely place to drift off each night with its soft scalloped edges and gentle curves. It's a single frame that fits a standard single mattress, so there's plenty of room for a growing child aged four and over. The light grey finish works nicely with most bedroom colours and styles. Wooden slats are included, so you've just got to add the mattress of your choice. There's 17cm of space underneath, that's handy for storage boxes or keeping the floor tidy when you hoove.
The frame's been safety tested to support up to 100kg, so it's suitable for adult use too. It arrives flat-packed with everything you need to put it together, and it's best done with two people to make assembly easier. The solid frame keeps things stable through years of bedtimes and weekend lie-ins. The scalloped detailing adds a gentle decorative touch without being too fussy.

Value for money
Frame is sturdy, plats needs to be screwed on individually which took up most of the time for installation. Light weight, easy to reposition. As far as durability is concerned I cannot say yet

Lovely bed but not cream
Really lovely bed and sturdy, but the collur is not ivory it is more grey.

Nice but hard to build
The finished bed is nice, but putting it together was much more difficult than it needed to be. There are 15 slats and they all have to be screwed individually into the base. The instructions were accurate but the important bits were easy to miss. Some of the bolts wouldn’t fit easily into the holes and I had to hit them with a hammer to get them to fit.

The Habitat Serena Scallop Single Bed Frame – Ivory. The measurement from the slats to the top of the bed end is 189cm. Any standard UK sized (W90, L190) mattress will be suitable to use with this bed frame does not need to be 15cm.
