About this product
Make fluffy omelettes without flipping or folding. The Salter Kuro Omelette Maker is a double electric egg machine that cooks even omelettes with minimal effort, thanks to deep-fill plates and a PFAS-free non-stick surface. Its 750W power cooks quickly, so you're not waiting for breakfast, and the design uses little to no oil for healthier meals. Omelette Maker
Purchased recently and used several times. This gets very hot and there are parts you can burn your hands on even when closed so take care. This takes about 1 and a half large eggs in each compartment or one egg plus other omelette ingredients. The omelettes it makes are light and fluffy. I found it much better than the microwave or frying pan. The non-stick surface has worked perfectly so far. Spray with a little oil before each use. Some basic instructions are included. It doesn't have a power switch so turns on as soon as plugged in. Quite compact in size it doesn't take up much room. Recommend if you like eggs.

Great quality item.
I bought this on the strength of the excellent reviews from other customers. This makes the most tasty, low calorie and healthy omelettes. Superb with a salad. It is very quick and the results are excellent. There is no scrubbing of pans either which is a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone.

So simple to use.
This omelette maker is so easy to use. The pre-heat takes very little time and all you have to do is pour your egg mixture in. It cooks evenly through the omelette and only takes about 4 minutes. It takes up hardly any storage space and I am extremely pleased with the whole experience.

Hello Toad,
The supplier has advised for the Salter Kuro Omelette Maker: Typically, for an omelette maker of this size, each compartment is designed to hold a standard individual serving - generally enough for 2–3 eggs per side. The diameter of each cavity is usually estimated at around 10–12 cm, but this can vary depending on the product design. The depth is generally adequate for a thick, fluffy omelette but again, we do not have the exact measurement.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Yes, 2 eggs with a dash of milk is usually enough to fill both sides of the omelette maker, as long as you don’t over‑load it with fillings.

Hello Joolz.

Hello Neeqo
I can advise the following for: Salter Kuro Omelette Maker.
It does cook on both sides.

Hello Mick.
Salter Kuro Omelette Maker
No, there is no on/off button, and the device does not fully switch itself off while plugged in. It simply heats up when connected to the mains and uses indicator lights to show heating status. Because it has no timer or automatic shut‑off, you do need to keep checking the cooking progress to avoid overcooking.
If it’s plugged in, it’s on.
To turn it off: switch off at the wall and unplug after use.
Thank you for using Q & A.
