About this product
Flat tyre in the garage and you're running late. The Ring RTC4000 is a rechargeable cordless inflator that handles car, bike and motorcycle tyres without needing a power socket. The digital backlit screen lets you set your target pressure and stops automatically when reached. It saves up to four preset pressures so you're not fiddling with buttons every time. A backup 12V cable is included if the battery's flat, plus a USB-C charger for topping up at home. The LED torch helps when working in the dark, and the whole kit comes in a storage case that fits neatly in the boot.
The cordless rechargeable design lets you inflate anywhere without trailing cables or hunting for power sockets. Works with cars, bicycles and motorcycles using the 3-piece adaptor kit. Perfect little tyre inflator
I bought this to check tyre pressures on a new caravan. It's the perfect design - all accessories store neatly around the unit and it also comes with a carry case. I checked the caravan tyres and two cars on a single charge, with capacity to spare. The compressor is a bit noisy, but works perfectly. And although it can be charged via USB, it also comes with a car cigarette lighter adaptor so you're covered for all eventualities. Great little unit - would highly recommend!

Good features, nice and compact.
The product does what is required and quiet compared to a lot of others I have used. When pumping up. A 20inch tyre, it took a longtime but was understandable. It is very compact and stores away neatly. You can set multiple pressures in memory and the device turns off automatically when the se toresuure is reached and the vehicle pressure matches that of the device. It also has other adaptors making it useful for sports balls, bicycles and air beds.

Died in cloud of smoke on first usage.
Bought this and it died in a cloud of smoke when I used it! Package has already been opened. Should have refused it but thought a Ring product would be good, it wasn't! Prompt refund from Argos though.

Bought this a month ago and have used it for my car tyres. Works as intended and is easy to use. Totally suitable for home needs. Hardly loses any air when connecting/disconnecting hose. Nice and compact too. Would highly recommend.

Neat design, easy to use and decent quality.
Owned for a while now and I'm really pleased with this. The battery lasts a long time and the pump is faster and quieter than my more budget pump that used the lighter to power it. This is much more convenient too, just moving around the car without a trailing cable. It's small and comes in a nice bag as well. There are cheaper pumps but I'm pleased with the quality and design for this price.

All the screw on type nozzles will let a small amount of air out when screwing on and off. You could add a small amount of extra air in order to compensate for the loss.

No this product in fact inflates the tyre's quickly and no does not leak air you have to just put the thumb nut on properly and away you brilliant air inflator

"Unfortunately this product is not suitable for inflating air beds." This is also the case even if you were to try to use an adaptor.
