Overly complicated
What kettle needs 4 buttons? Bought this for a clinic waiting room and have had to put instructions on it!

Brilliant, variable temperature kettle!
We love our new kettle! It's so quiet, heats the water really quickly, and the facility to heat water to below boiling point is excellent. It holds plenty of water despite looking quite compact. It doesn't 'click' when the water has reached temperature, but you can hear that it's stopped boiling it, and the kettle keeps the water at the correct temperature for a few minutes anyway.

Great variable-temperature option
We produce a range of white, green, oolong and black teas, so we need a kettle that accurately hits a variety of temperatures: 60, 70, 80, 90, 95, etc.. It's only a week in, but so far, we are very pleased. and a very reasonable price.

Hello Yok.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Russell Hobbs Buckingham Variable Temperature Kettle - 21040:
If the appliance is not used it will go into sleep mode and as such it will only hold enough power to have the power button functional. No lights in sleep mode and does not beep when it is done boiling.
As mentioned, as the product goes to sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity, it is designed to be safely left plugged in.
It is down to personal choice if you want to turn it off at the wall socket or not.
