Customers Say
A stylish, functional kettle with good capacity and quiet operation. Many users note slow boiling and lack of an on/off light indicator. Durable in hard water areas but some report limescale issues and lid problems.

A grey/black kettle.
It looks reasonable and it boils water. Nuff said.

As described
As described. But, could be improved with a better indication that it has actually been turned on. For example, if it had a light on the on/off switch.

Budget kettle
Slow to boil, no light to indicate it’s on. Pretty poor to be honest.

We live in a very hard water area and the kettle still is very good

Don’t buy it
Full of limescale within 2 days of purchase. Contacted Tefal and they said this is normal in hardware areas. . Funnily enough the cheaper kettle I had prior never had limescale in our hardware area.

Does and says. No issues

Watch out!
Unfortunately the lid is unreliable when boiling - likely to flip up. Need to keep an eye on it - not good.

Hello StephenB,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tefal KO2M0BG0 Morning Kettle - Cream: ''Sorry but as we don’t market this as a quiet kettle we don’t hold exact stats for it. Depending on the content of water for this kettle would be between 60-75 dB.''

In the title its described as Dark Night. A night sky is usually a very dark blue unless perhaps youre truly in the middle of nowhere, which would explain why its dark blue. But that doesnt excuse Argos, as they have put black in the product information!
Its definitely navy. Ive just taken it out of the box and put it back in as its visibly blue against my black toaster
Definitely Navy
Its definitely navy and not black for i had to take mine back. Toaster is the same although it actually looks navy on the box
Let me post a picture and Ill prove its blue not black
The item is described as black ,we understand that it can sometimes appear more navy in certain lighting.
My husband and I have this conversation daily about this kettle. It definitely looks navy in real life!
