About this product
The LLB Estella Velvet Ottoman Bed gives you a comfortable place to sleep with generous storage built in underneath. It's upholstered in soft brushed velvet that feels comfortable against your skin, and the deep padded headboard provides a supportive spot for reading or sitting up in bed. The vertical panel design adds a modern touch, while solid hand-turned wooden feet keep it stable. There's a choice of nine velvet fabric colours to suit your bedroom. UK-manufactured quality you can rely on.
The end-lift mechanism opens smoothly to reveal a large storage compartment, ideal for bedding, pillows or seasonal clothes. A fabric dust protection sheet keeps stored items clean. The gas-lift system works hands-free with mattresses up to 60kg, so you don't need to remove heavy bedding. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress and allow airflow. The frame sits 3cm off the floor for easy cleaning underneath. Self-assembly requires two people, with clear instructions and all fixings provided. Comes with a one year manufacturer's guarantee.

Purchased this bed through NEXT online arrived earlier than stated as it did say 6/7 weeks but arrived 3/4 weeks, took about 3 hours to build (Super King) so not bad going, the bed is of good quality and the colour and the velvet makes it look beautiful.

I am so disappointed
I an so disappointed with this bed it's already bent the metal underneath the slats have fallen out and even though it's a super king size bed our super king size mattress is about 3 inches to small and it squeaks terribly

Stunning!
I bought the bed in black, but was a little worried it was not a true black, but dark grey as some of photos seemed to suggest on the website. Bed arrived. Fabulous. A true black, with a stunning overall effect. Easy to put together, and seems of very good quality. I would say use your own tools. I used large and small Phillips screwdriver, and 13mm & 14mm spanners.

With a floor to underside of bed clearance of 3cm, this reduces the height to top of the siderail on the LLB Estella Velvet Double Ottoman Bedframe - Pearl to 31.5cm. The storage area is protected with a fabric sheet so should not affect this too much.
