- Founded by Poppy Szkiler and her mother Gloria Connell in 2012, the global Quiet Mark certification is a third-generation family business serving a charitable remit to protect public health.
- Quiet Mark is associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society (NAS) charitable foundation, founded by Poppy’s grandfather and Gloria's father John Connell OBE, in 1959.
- The NAS and Quiet Mark have led advocacy for international noise reduction for over 67 years, pioneering solutions to create calmer homes, workplaces or communal spaces.
