Unwins Sweet Pea 'Cyril Plater' is a Spencer-type variety producing large, frilly rosy-mauve blooms with a warm purple hue on a white background. Highly scented and long-stemmed, it’s ideal for borders, cottage gardens, exhibiting, and cutting for indoor displays. Sow indoors and plant out to a sunny, sheltered spot with moist, well-draining fertile soil; support climbers on canes or wigwams. Deadhead and feed regularly to extend the long flowering season from May to August.
