When the sun's out and the garden feels small, this family pool opens up a new patch of splash space. The Sea Captain Family Pool fits young children from age two upwards, with ocean-themed graphics along the sides and a built-in steering wheel with a working horn. A removable sunshade clips on when the sun's high, it keeps the play cool without ending it. Designed for outdoor water play under adult supervision. Children should stay in water within their depth.
Quick to set up inflate, fill and you're ready. The steering wheel gives pretend-play structure to the splashing. Also works as a sandpit when the weather shifts. Ocean graphics wrap the sides for a nautical feel. Includes sunshade for shade during sunny play, steering wheel with horn, and a repair patch for punctures. Inflates and fills quickly. It’s bigger than it looks and my little lad loves it. Would suggest getting a mechanic pump as I foot pump took forever

This is a really great paddling pool. The only issues with it are the shade leans, especially if there’s any slight wind, and the steering wheel is somewhat flimsy.

We've used this a handful of times now and it seems well made and robust. The sun canopy is a great addition too, gives a little protection when it's sunny. The steering wheel and horn are great. My toddler loves it.

The supplier has advised the following for the Bestway Sea Captain Family Pool:
We would advise that the product is better suited for putting on grass as there is a risk that a harder, sharp/abrasive surface could damage it.
If you do place it on paving, we would suggest making use of some form of suitable protection/padding like a padded mat underneath the product, between it and the slab. It'd also need to be as flat and level a slabbed surface as possible too.
