Does a good job at a good price
Seems sturdy , easy to put together and put holes in my lawn . Definitely quicker and easier than using a fork .

Good product
Very happy with the product, does the job. It takes a little practice to get the best results and a fair bit of pressure is required to get the optimum penetration into the ground. That said I still think it represents good value.

Does a good job
Easy to assemble and easy to use. Soil needs to be soft for optimal penetration. Takes a bit of manpower to use (I’m not very strong 😂) but works as expected. We bought this and some aeration shoes and found this easier to get the job done.

Flimsy and inadequate handle
Bought 1 day and returned next day with flimsy broken handle that’s not strong enough to do the job

Brilliant piece of kit!
A great garden tool, great value for money, easy to assemble and push. I first bought some strap on spike shoes however absolutely useless if you have small feet so decided to invest in this gadget and I’m impressed by how easy it is to push. I would definitely recommend buying this product.

Hi MsSceps,
Yes, a lot of people get confused about the differences between a aerator and a scarifier because they have an almost identical function.
A scarifier has knife-like steel blades attached to its cylinder. They remove the moss and debris in much the same way as a aerator.
Thank you for contacting Q & A
