This retractable clothes airer gives you 35m of drying space right outside your door, so you can hang out a full wash or four without running out of room. It's got five lines that pull out when you need them and tuck away neatly when you don't - handy if you want to keep your outdoor space tidy. Each line is 7m long, and you can pull out just one or all five depending on what you're drying. The lines go back automatically or you can wind them in yourself.

Easy to use and install. However the 5 hooks are too closely together meanjng you can realistically only use hook 1, 3 ans 5. You can purchase wall hooks from any hardware store and create your own line.

Very substantial. We are using it as an indoor washing line in our garage. Supplied with robust screw in bolts. Holds a lot of washing without any significant sagging. Easy to extend and retract. The line is plastic coated and seems strong, with a lot of life in it.

Best 5 line retractable clothes line
After three cheap plastic 4 lines breaking I saw this for about £12 more than I had on average paid for the lines that broke. I took a chance and was surprised it is large heavy very well made the plastic is thick with four mounting holes and supplied with substantial bolts and wall plugs. 5 lines which you can use all together or individually the hooks for the lines are metal on metal mounting and simple sturdy tightening handle that locks in place.well worth the extra outlay.

I have checked the manual which states: "Don't load any more then 28kg max at any one time" so the max loading for each line needs to be less than 5.6 kg at one time.
