About this product
Fish need a safe temporary space during tank cleaning sessions, and small pets like hamsters occasionally need secure transport to the vet. This Rosewood 7.2L plastic fish tank gives fish, hamsters and small invertebrates a temporary home while you tackle maintenance on their main Habitat. The ventilated lid keeps air flowing without risking escapes. Suitable for cold water, marine and tropical fish, the carrying handle makes it easy to move between rooms or load into the car for vet visits.
The 7.2L capacity holds enough water for short-term fish housing without becoming awkward to lift. Plastic construction stays lightweight at 0.5kg and survives accidental knocks better than glass alternatives. The ventilated lid works for fish and small animals that need proper airflow during brief stays. The handle clicks into place for secure transport, which matters when you are moving stressed pets or water-filled containers.

Customers Say
Small tank ideal for temporary or starter use with fish, snails, or insects. Lid hinges are fragile, often breaking quickly, but overall good value and functional for specific needs.

Doesnt last long.
Initially this was brilliant for what I needed, but after opening the top flap a few times it broke :( only a tiny bit of plastic holding it on so disappointed.

Average
I bought this a couple of weeks ago the sliding door came of after a week basically as soon as I slid it, that said it serves its purpose and since the door makes no difference to me, Iām still happy with the purchase, but depends what you need it for, I guess. š¤·š»āāļø

Just what I was looking for.
Ideal for the purpose that I brought it for. Just needed a smallish inexpensive tank to rescue some of the frog spawn in my pond from being eaten by the fish. They will go back in once they are too big for the fish to nosh.

Not as good as expected
The tank itself is quite nice but was smaller than I expected from the given dimensions and the opening lid broke very quickly.

Hi Rosie,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Rosewood 7.2L Plastic Fish Tank - Medium: If you can get one small enough to fit (both physically and in wattage). A traditional aquarium heater would need to be fitted in such a way that it was not in direct contact with the plastic tank (using a suitable holder, which are often suppled with the heaters). This may not be an issue with some of the more modern pad type heaters for smaller tanks.
The other option is to use a breeding trap within the main aquarium. Might be easier.
Hope this helps.

Hello Maise,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Rosewood 7.2L Plastic Fish Tank - Medium: You are able to keep adult stick insects in the tank securely. We recommend if a breeding pair are kept in the tank that you secure some very thin net or plastic mesh on the inside of the lid as baby stick insects would be able to escape with ease.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Not sure who argos spoke to but Female sticks dont need a male to live eggs! We temporarily housed sticks in one whilst cleaning out the bigger tank one female will lay 1000s of eggs and hatch even when no male is present!

None, a goldfish needs at least 60 litres minimum or they will get very stressed. A tank this small is not suitable for goldfish, not even temporarily as they will get sick due to stress and likely die very quickly
