Reliable as always
I have several Philips hue lights around the house and they are very reliable and come with loads of features in the Philips hue app, these two lights are set for soft white and about 60% power for the living room, I would recommend Philips hue to anyone.

Got lazy and required some smart bulbs so I didn’t have to get up to switch the lights on and off. Also handy having different brightness levels. Set mine at 10% and the hall way on 80%.

Hello CEH,
For the Philips Hue B22 9.5W White Smart Bulb - 2 Pack.
These are suitable for indoor use only.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello Samarth,
I can advise the following for the Philips Hue B22 9.5W White Smart Bulb - 2 Pack:
If you have the Bridge, this is possible. Information about this is in the app when you set up the bulbs without the bridge. There are additional things you can do when you have a bridge as well.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi MrB59,
The Philips Hue B22 White Smart Bulbs With Bluetooth - 2 Pack are 9Watts, 806 Lumens.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Stevet,
The Philips Hue B22 White Smart Bulbs With Bluetooth - 2 Pack comes with a manufacturers 2 year guarantee.
Thank you for using Q&A.
The energy ratings have been reclassified from 2022. You cant transfer the old scale to the new scale due to lights now rating in Lumens so you would need to convert this with a formula. But from what I have seen a previously rated A would be rated now G. This does not mean it has poor efficiency, just that there are more efficient devices. If you need a better explanation just do a quick Google on what the new energy rating is. Hope this explains it better than that spec sheet the staff posted.
Hi Jupjam9,
Please see the following link for a more in depth look at the power usage/rating: https://documents.4rgos.it/v1/static/9517714_...

They can connect totally to the echo dot and turn on remotely using the Alexa app communicating to the echo dot and the echo dot controlling the bulb
These bulbs can be turned on remotely. I can confirm that using the Alexa app allows them to be operated via the internet. The Hue app was used to register the bulbs at home and after an update they were linked to the Alexa app. As long as your Alexa speaker is within Bluetooth range of the bulb you will be able switch the bulb on and off.
Hello there,
The Philips Hue B22 White Smart Bulbs With Bluetooth aren't able to work with location based activity as they use bluetooth with the Echo dot. For you to use location awareness so they turn off or on for leaving and returning to the home you will require the Philips hue bridge to activate this. This will connect to your router and cause the bulbs to switch to using ZigBee instead of bluetooth.
Bluetooth only connection will allow you to control the lights within in the house either via the Hue App or Via Alexa. You can also include them within scenes that can be triggered via voice command so you could have a command set up so when you enter the house you state "Alexa, I'm home" and this will turn the lights on and vice versa for leaving.
I hope this helps,
Thanks for using Q&A.
