Fast, easy-to-use ice maker producing good quantities of ice quickly. Compact, quiet, and ideal for parties or daily use. Ice melts quickly but machine refills rapidly. Some issues with cube sticking and durability.

Good for parties and hot Summer days
Bought for a party and makes ice brilliant. Bagged up and put in the freezer. They do melt quicker than normal shop bought ice cubes, but still good to have on "tap".

Great summer addition
Bought the ice maker, just in time for the hot weather. I absolutely love it. It starts to churn out the ice very quickly and constantly. It has been great for keeping drinks nicely chilled. Its not to big or bulky looking but holds quite a lot of ice. The ice seems quite dense, as it doesn't seem to melt overly fast, even in nearly 30 degree sun.

Good size, quiet and effective.
Very good! The ice melts quicker than normal cubes so you need more, but it makes it so fast this doesn't matter.

A must have!!
Bought this a week ago to use for a family bbq. Our integrated freezer is too small to hold lots of ice and this is an absolute game changer!! It’s brilliant!! Does exactly what it says, it’s quick and easy to use, very quiet and although some reviews said the ice melted fast, I found that it lasted well. Impressed and bought on a deal too so very happy. Highly recommend.

Nice little machine ma
Made lots of ice in a short amount of time. Has a handy drain hole. Instructions could be clearer but it wasn't rocket science. Will pay for itself in no time. It’s about the size of a bread maker so make a note of that. Will come in handy for summer.

Superb bit of kit!
Superb bit of kit, Ice cubes on demand within 8 minutes and great for parties. Not too big to take up too much space and the capacity is more than enough, refilling takes seconds, well recommended!

Great for summer garden parties
Best thing we’ve bought turn it on and just wait for the ice once it’s full or out of water it just stops so no need to keep a eye on it just keep popping back for your ice there’s not a lot of difference between the small cubes and the large cubes so we just leave it on large looks great on the kitchen bench and doesn’t take long at all to freeze the water

Hello I have taken a look at the instructions for the Cookworks 1.8L Ice Cube Maker. The information provided in this document advises that the ice cubes should be transferred to a freezer or ice bucket and if the machine is not going to be used again it should be switched off.
As the machine will be switched off then, then no, the ice will not be kept frozen in the machine. thanks for using Q and A.
