No fuss bread at the touch of a button.
I bought this bread maker as a replacement for my previous Panasonic appliance, and as the previous one it does exactly what is says on the tin! very happy with it as the operating instructions are very easy to understand and the range of no fuss bread recipes that are included are simply brilliant. the last appliance lasted 25years so I'm expecting this one to equal it.

Perfect bread every bake :-)
Excellent replacement for my existing Panasonic breadmaker that was way past its retirement age (over 15yrs old !) Use every 2 days, perfect bread (white, granary, cheese) every time.

Great results.
We are highly satisfied with the bread maker. Instructions are easy to follow and you can’t beat fresh bread. Not used for anything else yet but will be trying them out soon.

Great Breadmaker – Key Tips for Best Results
Very pleased with this breadmaker – it’s been performing really well so far. Just a small but genuinely helpful note for anyone new to Panasonic machines: they’re quite sensitive to the order of ingredients. As long as you follow a few simple rules, the results are excellent. Liquids go in first, right at the bottom of the pan. Keep the yeast and salt separate until the programme starts. Good‑quality flour makes a noticeable difference. Beyond that, it genuinely saves a lot of time and effort, especially if you’re juggling a busy household. I often use it just for kneading dough, and it does a brilliant job every time. For a family of four, it’s the perfect size and delivers consistent, reliable results once you get the basics right.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY
Best bread maker ever, bought this a few weeks ago, I make a loaf most days and every one has turned out perfect. I bought a cheaper bread maker but after a few weeks of loaves being thrown in the bin because of different problems to try and make a decent loaf .I DECIDED TO OPT FOR THE PANSONIC. YES ITS MORE EXPENSIVE BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT TO GET A WELL MADE LOAF OF BREAD

Great machine
I bought this to replace the same model that stopped working. This is the only bread maker that i have found that gives you a normal sized loaf. In fact I have used this model for the last nine years and never bought a loaf during that time. Brilliant machine you are thinking.....This is the third machine i have purchased in those nine years. The second was much improved in the design of the drive mechanism for the paddle. Original was some sort of plastic and broke hence the reason for replacing it. The second just stopped stirring and now have the third machine. The machine does have an abundance of recipe settings and maybe reducing these could possibly reduce the cost. I have only ever used the basic large loaf with light crust (4 hours) and a pizza dough menu (45mins). Just a bit of advice for those who buy.....remove the loaf to your cooling tray as soon as the cycle has finished.

No, it just sits on top. It helps if you pour it onto the measuring spoon to avoid gouging a hole in the flour. It works fine, even if left to run overnight.

I replaced my 2500 with the 2510 after the old one died. The new one is very similar and works just as well - its much quieter in fact. However, many if not all of the recipes have the wrong amount of sugar tablespoons instead of teaspoons. I would recommend using recipes from your old machine.

Hi there,
Panasonic SD-B2510WXC Automatic Breadmaker - White.
The power supply for UK: 230 V - 240 V 50 Hz and the power consumption is between 505 W - 550 W.
if the Heating duration is around 1. 5 hours total, and we draw 0. 55 kW, and the electricity rate is £0. 23 per kilo.
Energy used = 0. 55 kW x 1. 5 hours = 0. 825 kWh
times £0. 23= £0. 19 to make one loaf of bread using this unit based on a rate of 23p per kWh. However, as I said, this calculation is not accurate as we don't have a specific heating duration time, and the cost from your Electricity supplier this may vary.
Thank you for using Q and A.
