Extremely effective fan
This fan has been an absolute life saver so far this summer, I'm so glad I bought it before it sold out. I've had this fan in a room that's 32° and it still feels like a cool air being blown at me with my colleagues fans feeling like hot air. The noise is quiet, it doesn't make a sound like a tower fan but its not as silent as I thought it might be. It certainly is very quiet and I can fall asleep with it running, but I can hear it (I'm a light sleeper). The remote is a great addition as I can control it in bed, the timer works well and I really appreciate it having a light button to toggle off at night. My only slightly quibble is that the remote doesn't light up, and at night I can't see the buttons and fumble in the dark, I've memorised the buttons now but some sort of glow would have been helpful on the remote. Overall, extremely happy and my colleagues even complimented how cooling it was to walk past. Best purchase this summer for sure, especially as I'm struggling with a medical menopause.

Very quiet, very effective
This fan is wonderful. I now have 2 Meaco fans (one of which I have had for 5 years and is still very much in use) which are a boon in the intense heat. The fan is very quiet so is ideal in the bedroom at night. It has plenty of angle settings and speed setting and is also very responsive to the remote control, which is also handy during the night. Meaco fans are not the cheapest, however, in my opinion they are worth every penny.

Bought this after sitting next to one in my local Cafe. Good solid quality build. The fan rotates to cover the whole room. Digital display of temperature and operational details on the base. The round remote has a magnetic base and is stored neatly on the fan itself. Very quite. We use in the bedroom and can run it all night and sleep through the slight noise it makes without a problem.

Yes, the fan has a timer function which allows you to set it to switch off automatically after your chosen period of time.
If the timer is not activated, the fan will continue running until it is manually switched off.
