The Ion A3 laminator machine can laminate up to 125-micron laminating pouches which is which is ideal for laminating and giving a professional finish to your work and will be ready to use in no time thanks to its quick 4-minute heat up time. The Ion A3 features a release lever which allows you to realign misfed documents. With the Auto Shut Off feature, the Ion A3 will automatically power down after 30 minutes of inactivity. This laminator includes a laminating starter pack of ten Fellowes pouches.

Excellent light weight A3 laminator
This has been a huge improvement from our old laminator (which used to take 15 minutes to reach temp, and was so heavy) this heats up in less than 5 minutes, is light weight and you don't have to use a sleeve over the sheets, and it comes with some A4 laminating sheets and a cleaning sheet which is a bonus. I have tested this well, since I needed to laminate 30-40 pages for my classroom display boards (5 large boards) and it did the job brilliantly. I would definitely recommend this laminator.

Good :Product
This was easy to set up, and laminates very well. However, I do have an issue as it came with a starter pack of 10 pouches but did not state on the front of the box what size they were. On opening the starter pack it only contained A4 pouches, where the laminator also did A3 lamination. Short of using two A4 pouches and having a join in the middle, I did not feel this was acceptable so have written to the manufacturer requesting a complimentary pack of A3 pouches.

Used once so far and seemed to do a good job. Part of the reason I chose this A3 laminator model was the information that a small number of pouches was included in the price. Logically, I would expect A3 pouches to use with your newly purchased A3 laminator but OH NO... they are A4 sized! Star rating reduced accordingly.

Good machine, but respect it
A remarkably low cost for an A3 laminator, but treat it with consideration and it does an excellent job. One small recommendation - take a 4in strip of Scotch tape, write 'Not Buttons' along it in permanent marker, and stick this across the red & green LED indicators on the top of the machine - it'll save anyone who doesn't know the machine from inadvertently breaking it when they're trying to turn it on

This is Ion and will support up to 125 micron pouches and the other is ARC and will only support up to 80 micron pouches.

I can confirm that the Fellowes Ion A3 Laminator, does not have a reverse button. It does however have a release button should there be a jam whilst using.
